Intelligent Wildfire Early Warning System Based on Sensor Fusion

R&D ProjectOngoing

The project develops a low-cost, long-life, and low-power wildfire early warning system using the fusion of multi-band IR photodiodes, thermopile sensors, and gas sensors. The system integrates data preprocessing and machine-learning algorithms and transmits event-based data via LoRaWAN to maximize energy efficiency. The project is at TRL-6 level, and optimization and productization efforts are ongoing.

Next-Generation UV Flame Detection System

R&D ProjectOngoing

A gas-based ultraviolet (UV) flame detection system is being developed within the scope of the project. The system features a wide detection angle through its sensor design and can detect small flames up to 150 m even under direct sunlight using the ionization principle. The project is currently at TRL-4, with ongoing optimization studies aimed at enhancing detection performance and completing system integration.

ElectroSens – Smart Water and Nutrient Monitoring and Management System

R&D ProjectOngoing

The ElectroSens project aims to develop an integrated sensing system for monitoring and treating nitrate pollution in water sources. The platform incorporates conductive MOF-based electrochemical conversion unit that transform nitrate into environmentally benign nitrogen species, together with a multi-parameter sensor platform capable of detecting amines, chloramines and key water-quality indicators. By combining MOF-based electrochemical conversion, IoT-based sensing technologies and AI-driven data analytics, the system provides a smarter, more efficient and sustainable approach to water purification and nutrient management.
